LCD screen shading problem

LCD display: Contrast is the ratio of the brightness of the brightest point (white) to the darkest (black) at the same point on the screen. A high contrast ratio means a relatively high brightness and a glamorous color. High-quality LCD display panels and excellent backlight brightness, the two can be combined to achieve a full-color, bright and clear picture.

Two common terms nowadays are: LG DFC technology and *Samsung's dynamic contrast technology (DCR) LG DFC is called Digital Fine Contrast. DFC technology is a contrast-specific optimization technology. The technology is mainly composed of three parts, namely ACR (Auto Contents Recognition), DCE (Digital Contrast Enhancer) and DCM (Digital Contrast Mapper). ACR can automatically detect the parameters of the display signal input from the PC host, and then adjust and optimize the contrast of the liquid crystal display; DCE can greatly reduce the blackest brightness, and effectively adjust the vividness of the intermediate color gradation, so as to achieve the optimized display effect; The DCM can determine whether the contrast is optimized and perform comprehensive screen adjustment and display. That is to say, the DFC technology requires three steps to optimally adjust the contrast.

The so-called dynamic contrast refers to the contrast value measured by the liquid crystal display under certain conditions. For example, each area of the screen is tested one by one, and the contrast value of the area with the largest contrast is used as the contrast parameter of the product. Different manufacturers may not have the same measurement method for dynamic contrast, but its essence is also inseparable. Dynamic contrast and true contrast are two different concepts. Generally, the dynamic contrast of the same LCD monitor is 3-5 times the actual contrast.
